Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional veterinary care to creatures large and small. Dr. Kara LaRue founded Pine Point Animal Hospital in 2023. After years of specialty practice, she was ready to get back to her roots: family veterinary medicine. From routine check-ups and wellness exams to advanced care and diagnostics, Pine Point Animal Hospital delivers personal vet care tailored to your pet’s needs.

Experienced Veterinary Care Team

After graduating with honors from Texas A&M University, Dr. LaRue spent 9 years in general practice. During that time, she honed her medical and surgical skills, developing a passion for advanced care and diagnostic imaging. She then pursued an intensive veterinary sonography program with VDIC in 2019. Dr. LaRue now brings this experience and skill to her patients at Pine Point Animal Hospital.
